Activity: Paper Plate Ladybird Craft for Kids
MATERIALS
Paper plate
Red paint
Black paper
Black pipe cleaner
Glue
Scissors
1 1/2 in circle paper punch (optional)
Steps to Make Paper Plate Lady bird
STEPS
Paint a regular-sized paper plate red and allow it to dry.
White the plate is drying, cut circles (or use a craft punch) from the black paper for the ladybug’s spots. Also cut a head from the black paper for the ladybug. Our head was rounded like a circle on one end and resembled the side of a rectangle on the other end.
Glue the spots onto the painted paper plate. Glue the head to the back of the paper plate, so that the rounded portion of the head sticks out over the paper plate.
Fold a black pipe cleaner in 1/2 and attach it to the back of the ladybug’s head. We used tape to attach it. Curl the ends of the pipe cleaner to make antennae for the ladybug.
Activity: Recipe to Make Strawberry SunButter Bites
INGREDIENTS
2 large flour tortillas
4-6 tablespoons SunButter
10 strawberries, thinly sliced
Recipe to Make Strawberry Sunbutter Bites
STEPS
Place the tortillas on a flat surface and spread each with 2-3 tablespoons sun butter.
Divide the strawberries between the wraps and tightly roll up pressing the edge of the tortilla with sun butter to adhere.
Place the wrap seam side down on a cutting board and cut into 1-inch wheels.
